Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by Govt. of India in schools and colleges through which students will be made aware of AIDS. Through RRC youth are encouraged to learn about safe and healthy lifestyles. The RRC promotes access to information on safe sexual behaviors and voluntary blood donation as well as enable them to become change agents in HIV & AIDS programme. Therefore Anna University has sanctioned Rs 2000/- for starting the RRC in our campus. Processing this inaugural program was conducted for Red Ribbon Club on 28.01.11.
The organization of AIMPS (All India Movements for People Service) has conducted the awareness program in our college campus on 28.01.11. Mr. Josie, The manager of AIMPS has given the talk on Awareness of AIDS and the way to deal the First aid in the emergency time.
