  • Prof P.Jeya Bright, HOD/ECE has published a paper titled “Development of a Scalable Coding for the encryption of images using Block Truncation Code” in IEEE XPLORE for the 3rd International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI) Conducted by Scad College of Engineering and Technology, Tirunelveli DOI: 10.1109/ICOEI.2019.8862525.
  • Prof P.Jeya Bright HOD/ECE has attended 5 webinars conducted by IEEE India Council.
  • Prof P Jeya Bright has attended 6 days Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Overview of OBE & NBA Process” Conducted by Francis Xavier Engineering College between the dates 18-11-2019 to 23-11-2019.
  • Prof X.Jushwanth Xavier AP/ECE attended the workshop conducted by St Xavier Engineering College on 21/9/2019.

LABORATORY

We are facilitated with laboratories with all the necessary equipment needed to experiment and practice the Anna University Syllabus. We have specialized labs for each of the core based learning with good infrastructure facilities such as lighting and seating. Our department has the following labs :

Professional Societies

IEEE Student Chapter

5 batch students presented paper through SKYPE for International Conference on Smart Applications for Environment Quality Assessment and promoting Health Care Systems using Internet of things (ICSAIOT -2019) on 29/8/2019 conducted by K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, K.S.R Kalvi Nagar, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District, Tamilnadu.

3rd Year Students namely M.Ancy, A.S.Imel Difrugine, D.Deva Subha and M.Dhamayanthi had presented paper through SKYPE for 19th International Conference on Science Engineering and Technology (ICSET) on 30th and 31st oct 2019 by VIT (Vellore Institute  of Technology), Deemed University, Vellore.

5 batch students (totally 12 students) participated in the symposium ‘Sandeza 2K19” held by Loyala Institute of Technology on 27/8/2019.

3rd Year Students Deva Subha and Classic Mary had participated in paper presentation conducted by Annai Velankanni Engineering College on 25/9/2019.

3rd Year Students namely Maria Rasitha, Birnel Hersey, Vinitha and Jaya Sharon had participated in PPT, QUIZ and Circuit Debugging conducted by Cape Institute of Technology, Levengipuram, Kanyakumari on 11th October 2019.

3rd and 4th year IEEE members had participated at Mock Drill on Establishing Power and Lights to the disaster response on Enayam on 11th October 2019.

  • 3rd year students namely M.Ancy and Deva Subha had participated in Essay Competition held at WCC College, Nagercoil on 19/8/2019.

3rd year student Vaishnavi had participated in ICT Youth talk -2019 held at St Xavier catholic college of Engineering on 17/9/2019.

3rd year students namely M.Ancy, A.S.Imel Difrugine, Jeya Sharon and A.K.Vaishnavi had participated on the event “SPEAK INDIA” conducted at Vivekananda Arts College, Kanyakumari on 26/9/2019.

4th  year ECE Students attended seminar on the topic “Embedded System & Applications” by resource person Mr.Anto, Research & Development Engineer of vintech systems, Nagercoil on 9/8/2019.

2nd year and 3rd year ECE Students attended seminar on the topic “Latest Trends in Embedded System” by resource person Mr Arun Balaji, Sparrows Innovation, Tirunelveli on 13/8/2019.

2nd year students attended a workshop conducted by Matt Engineers, Nagercoil on 12/9/2019.
