DMI Engineering College has been established with a long-range vision of shaping itself into a premier technical Institution in the country offering UG and PG courses. It aims to develop itself into a research center. The Central library has an extensive collection of books and is augmented on a continuous basis. The library subscribes to popular periodicals, national and international journals. A large number of CD-ROMs and audio cassettes are a supplementary digital resource offered.
Library is the heart, mind and soul of an educational institution and a head of innovativeness, inspiration and insight both for the students and the faculty. Learning and library are complementary to each other as the light to the lamp.
Esthetically designed and State of the art the library ) is located in the ground floor of the College building and is well facilitated. It has been systematically and steadily strengthened. The operation and services are with fully computerized Library Automation Software. The library is equipped with more than 20,000 books from different streams. Besides these text and reference books we are also subscribing a large number of national and international journals, magazines and dailies.
The digital library has informative CDs, study material in interactive format and so on which are used by the students for better understanding of the subjects and students also have access to internet and websites. A photocopier is also provided for their benefits.
